Napoleon Barmakian was truly a man ahead of his time. Although a diamond-cutter by trade, he had a passion for great tasting foods that were nutritious. In 1931 he founded Venus Wafers by baking a 100% Whole Wheat Wafer and packaging it in a plain brown box. Napoleon built Venus Wafers on principles that were handed down from his Armenian ancestors: good products and fair trading. In 1948 Ed Barmakian took over the business from his father and met the post-war explosion in consumer demand by adding new flavors and variations to the Venus product range. Today, the company operates under the guidance of Napoleon's grandson, Luke Barmakian.

All natural flatbreads and crackers are the cornerstone of Venus Wafers' reputation. Our philosophy has always been to cater to the changing tastes of consumers. Our production facilities are Non-GMO, Vegan and Kosher-approved. We are inspected regularly by third-party auditors and meet the stringent food safety standards published by the British Retail Consortium. Our organic products meet the USDA standard.
